Access in standard mode (LOGIN) is available only to the users that are already registered in the MNB servers and were previously given a username and password.
To access, just imput the username (login) in the box, and the assigned password in the password box. Then click Connect.
Each user is given a maximum number of allowed session per server, to allow a detailed access control. If this number has already been reached, the application notifies the user that access to the application and its content is not allowed. Each user is givena profile that describes the information tipologies she can access, and the profile type allows the system to screen all the news in the MNB server to show only what the user has access to.
The Offline button allows access to local archive data in offline mode. This mode allows viewing of previously downloaded news and photos, but does not allow reception of new updates from the net and disables all the functions that need net access.
The Cancel button will close the window and exit the application.
Using the Change Password option the user can modify its password.
This option has a meaning for registered users only.
To use this option, the user must insert his identification data (Login and Password) followed by the new password, which will have to be written twice to avoid typing errors. Clicking on the Send button makes the MNB server process the change. The new password will be immediately available for use with the LOGIN output.
In case of a successful connection, the loading window opens (see next picture). When loading is completed, the browser will appear.
